Let's dive in! 🙂
INGREDIENTS
Makes about 14 balls
- 1 cup oats
- Approx. ¾ cup dates (add more if needed)
- ¼ cup desiccated coconut
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional)
- 1 Tbsp cashew butter or any other nut butter
- 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all the dry ingredients into the food processor and blend until the oats will be broken into small pieces but not powdered.
- Start adding cashew butter and coconut oil, while the food processor is still working.
- After they mix together, add dates, a few at a time. You need them to help to combine the whole mixture.
- As soon as you notice that the dough is sticky enough, you can start forming balls. Optionally, roll them in desiccated coconut.
These chocolate energy balls taste best when chilled.
You can keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days or freeze to enjoy later on.
